We provide the utility plan that defines the detection of underground utilities. The utilities that can be detect underground such as pipes and cables. We are using the EML and GPR that only can detect the pipes and power cables not includes fiber optic cables.
Ground penetrating radar (GPR) is used to identify buried cables underground. Our company used GPR Mala Easy Locator HDR Pro that used to locate the metallic and non-metallic underground. Other than that, we are also used Electromagnetic Locator (RD8100) to locate underground cables. EML used for tracing metallic pipes and cables as it is for clearing drilling locations. EML basically can used to identify utilities such as power cable, telecommunication cable, gas pipes and water pipes that not includes asbestos pipeline. While for fibre optic, we used flexi trace to detect the underground cables. The flexi trace is a flexible rod that contains conducting wires that used to insert into pipes and ducts. From the flexi trace we can detect the line of cable / utilities.
As for the output, we produce a utility plans that include the details of pipes and cables that can be detected on site and also we produce an As Built plan. We also have a certified Traffic Management Officer for producing the report of Traffic Management Plan & Traffic Management Safety Report that can be used for the purpose of traffic flow during the work.
